      • New game up in a couple of hours. I am washing clothes this morning, and I don't think my wife will take kindly to any interruptions

Im not sure what Baruk Khazad is , but if they speak Judeo-Dwarvish, that would be "blessed are the dwarves" - lord of the mark

            Okay...this is an oldie:

1982 - Shoot 'em up - Multi Scrolling - Commodore 64. Don't know if it was available on other platforms. Don't think so

              • Can't have been that many games for the C64 back that early.... And Jupiter lander isn't exacly multi-scrolling, or shot 'em up. Now, I think there was some chopper game amoungst my oldies back then. Can't remember the name though.

                • Chopper game? I remember a game were you had to fly your chopper into an underground base, pick up people, dodge lasers and missile tanks and constantly keep an eye on your fuel level.

The game : Fort Acocalypse , another venerable classic.

A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                        • If that in fact was the game in question. Iirc, it had a lot of clones.... There was one really good version in arcades but that was years after 1982.

I'll leave it to you guys to sort out if CapTVK or Spikey is the winner.
