Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
The game is extremely dark on my screen (Like it is in most games), but I can't change the brightnes... Even if I change it in Windows, nothing happens in the game... there's not much difference if the player who plays it is blind or not, when playing on my computer...
Try the settings on your 3D card.

Are you sure you have a working 3D card? I do mean the hardware.
maybe it is time to go back to the store and ask them to replace it .

Since I ordered online I have to pay tons of bucks to send it back again... and if they can't find errors on the card I have to pay for the time it took them to check the card
...and I had the same problem with my earlier card (Not being able to change the brightnes in games... in some games it works, but not all), while I bought a new monitor a few months ago, which was very bright... too bad something else went wrong with it, so I had to get a refund... Haven't bought a new one yet, but might do it in January...
The main reason why I don't like buying on-line.
Have you tried the games' (official ) boards?

I don't like to buy online, but you can get a lot of the HW much cheaper that way... I live in a small town where there's only few stores that sells HW, but none of them knows much about HW, so they have always high prices
At present time, even if I have to throw away my new card (Drastic yes, but to make a point ) now, I would have saved enough money by buying online, rather than buying from local stores... and I don't buy much HW
