      Right on, Sn00py.

The correct answer is Beach Head II - The Dictator strikes back.

So, Sn00py. You get to present the next one

Don't know when this game was published but...

                  1. Pretty much everything was green
                  2. A very primitive 3D Engine
                  3. You could drive many different things

If this is the game I think it is, you could drive tanks, bombers, fighters, helicopters etc and you operated from an underground bunker.

Oh, I remember playing that one. For about 20 minutes of sooo complicated playing that the tutorial was overwhelming. I do not remember the name of it though.

Beach Head II? You missed the classic speech excerpt: "Medic!"

We went around for years yelling "Medic!" because of that game.

At Sn00py: was it Army Men or one of the three I think games in that series?

                              6. The game had no textures, just solid colour polygons. (most of it green)
                              7. If you were good enough, you could shoot seagulls

Is it 'Hunter', one of my all time favourite games? released 1990 by Activision, you were a one man army and had to roam this huge 3d landscape completeing missions and, as sn0ppy said, you could drive any vehicle you found.
I still find it amazing they managed to do this game on the Amiga, it seemed pretty amazing at the time
