  • Favorite RTS?

What is your favorite Real Time Strategy game? Reason I ask is, what I've got is getting old/boring. The time has come to buy a replacement.

If it wasn't because the outdated graphics, then The Settlers II would have been my favorite (It's still my all-time favorite though)

But at present time, my fav RTS game is Rise of Nations
This space is empty... or is it?

I always liked the original AofE.

As far as later ones, I 've been getting into Cossacks lately.

I don't know if it can be called just RTS(lots of elements here), but I really like EU2.

The first Command and Conquer. The only one from the series that I played all the way through and not just once. AoK and AoE come a distant second. I have just ordered RoN which may change the ranking.

Settlers 2 was pretty good too. Too bad they strayed from what made it a good game witht he sequels.

Usually the last one I bought, because once I'm bored with an RTS I never go back (dunno why)

eu2 for single player and probably multiplayer too but i've never been able to get it to run for more than like 6 months.
