I recall playing it at the war gaming club mentioned in another thread - and i also recall a long set-up all kinds of nobility, office, etc cards to hand out, as well as units and royal figures to set out on a map of the Brit Isles. Thats why a PC port would be nice.

And I am very pleased that this post is about Kingmaker - for obscure mathematical reasons, it has done just that.

Kingmaker (the boardgame) was awesome. I used to play with my brother and a couple friends of his - great games of backstabbing and such. We'd set it up Friday evening and make a weekend out of it. Much fun.

Never tried the PC version though. Maybe I'll download it and have a look.

I thought that was still the question.
        Is there a PC version?

                  What he meant was:

'Poly does in no way support any form of piracy.

                  Spoiler:
                  cheers though

Didn't realize that was a pirate site.

If it is, let me know and you can delete the link or I will.

its an abandonware site. Some dispute about whether that should be considered piracy. but IIUC poly doestn allow links.

It is an abandonware site..........which makes it not out and out piracy, so your confusion is understandable Rah. But Ming has been quite consistent in his dealing with links to that particular site.

I'll bring it to Ming's attention since I forgot that I don't have the necessary rights for this forum.

                            I noticed that.

Tbh Ming doesn't come in here much at all, and it's quite an active forum. Maybe you should apply.

Yeah... that's one of the "Grey area sites".

However, while some of the games at that site are indeed legal to download because the publishers have indeed GIVEN PERMISSION... many of the games available on that site do not have such permission from the publishers.

Yeah... I know that those games are no longer supported... and that in many cases... the publisher doesn't care or enforce their copywrite anymore... But since it does provide games that are technically illegal to download... any link to that site is not allowed...
