I saw another one at lunch: Carnival King.

Crusader Kings. Is that RTS or TBS? Surely not FPS...

Oh yes, i should have thought of this. looked at the paradox forum - looks really good, i think they have an excellent sense of how medeival politial struggles took place.

          Harry: well, im just impatient.

Crusader Kings is based on the EU engine, so presumably like EU it will be a real time game, but not one that resembles standard RTS in any way.

There is also the FPS Kingpin, (not about ten pin bowling ) where you take on the head of a crime syndicate.

I only remember the boardgame kingmaker (war of the roses - heavy political emphasis) - i seem to recall that it was cool.

Is there a PC version? Is it any good?

While based on the EU engine, it's a completely new one after what the lead programmer from Snowball have said. But it will be like EU regarding RTS, but I'd rather call it a turnbased RTS.(you'll understand if you've played EU1/2.)

Honestly don't know. Never played it. Here's it's link from the underdogs:

                            King(s) and Merchants.
The Chuck Norris military unit was not used in the game Civilization 4, because a single Chuck Norris could defeat the entire combined nations of the world in one turn.

We used to play kingmaker quite a bit. A typical good avalon hill board war game in medieval times. Unfortunately, like most of those games, it took more that a few hours to set up and play. Never heard of a PC version.
