The thing is, more than half the games I bought are either duds or ones I don't like, but I can't return them. Most game reviews are useless also. For example, I bought Starfleet Command because the reviews were so glowing, but in fact the game sucks as far as I am concerned.Originally posted by Solver

I used to go to best buy for everything. Although some games like Civ3 came out at the store in the mall 1 day before best buy, so sometimes I would go there. Although maybe if I had 1 extra day I would have realized not to by civ3 ptw
But even Best Buy's inventory has decreased.
I go to Fry's for pretty much all my games now. They have a huge selection of games and software at equal or lesser prices than best buy and EB.Comment

I go to EB most of the time. I like being able to return a game for a full refund within 10 days.If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.Comment

I used to use GAME all the time because of the 10 day no-questions refund. Unfortunately the local store disappeared so I tend to use strategic plus software on the net for any game I know I will want. I still make forays to GAME/EB for anything I buy speculatively.To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.
