Unfinished games you hope/plan on beating someday

Games I have on my computer that I still need to "finish":

Civilization II (beat Deity, that is)
Commandos (haven't played in a while, but I'm at that second Maas bridge level, if that means anything to you)

Games not currently installed that I have to finish as well (my wallet is far too lean to be able to afford buying games I don't like, or don't want to play):

Grand Theft Auto (I'd have to start over again, but I never finished the final level)
GTA2 (not sure anymore how far I got with this one. I probably haven't finished the last level yet, nor uncovered all bonus levels because of that)

well some games don't have endings. The sims- though you can try to achieve the highest job rank (the original game was the only one I played.)

As for Diablo2- well I consider myself to have finished the game by beating diablo (and baal) once. But I haven't beaten it with all characters. I have not beat diablo2 with an assassin, and the necomancer. Those characters just don't interest me.

And games like civ2 and civ3 I consider complete, because I have beaten the game. Though I haven't beaten the game using all victory methods and at all difficulty levels.


As for Fallout 2 ending (I definately finished this one), yes those floors are annoying. I agree that you just want to finish at that point. My last game I just looked it up in a faq (I had already beaten it- so no spoilers). Although I still couldn't get it with the guide, but I got enough doors open to figure out how to get the last couple open.

Sid Meier's Gettysburg: Never finished all the scenarios from the first day. Would like to get back to it.


Caesar III - stopped mid-career, where it starts to get fairly hard.

Conquest of the New World - I have finished it before, but only in easy levels. I've got this game working, that means: It can run. But this game is old also, and requires the CD to be in my first CD-drive, but that drive makes noises that drives me insane (It doesn't make noises when having other CD's in, it's only with this game)... and I haven't been able to find a NO-CD thing to it

Linux games don't have this problem. If a game requires a CD you can just put a CD image in a directory and mount it to wherever the game looks for a CD. (I haven't actually tried that but I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work.)

Has anyone here finished HoMM3's Armarggedom's blade expansion campaigns?? im stuck at the 3rd map of the fire witch and this map is so far the longest map i've ever played from any previous HoMM campaign maps (so far i've finished all HoMM2 + expasion and the original HoMM3 campaigns).
