Oh yes it's so beautiful. Story is good so it keeps you want to go further to see what happens. There is the danger of not passing some mission, and then you get bored and angry and destroy the game, light it on fire while wildly chanting naked next to it.
But, all missions are very playable and it doesn't concentrate on ridicolous puzzles. I'm telling you guys the shooting mode is good once you get used to it. It's so cool to crawl with your tommy gun or shot gun in some warehouse, chased by rival gangsters while you were bootlegging Canadas finest whiskeys..
At the beginnig of this game, there are quite a lot of missions involving lots of driving, and that makes you bored sometimes and angry. At daylight, you can't speed that much, because the cops will get you. Or at least chase you, and it's not exactly GTA where you can just blast away. Night time.. you can pretty much let it go and speed all you want.
And like I said earlier, you need to have a powerful computer to handle the game. Well decent computer, and as you look at the screenshots, you now understand. The game is totally ruined if your PC can't handle this and it twitches all the time. Or that you have to lower the details or resolution. It's just so much fun to play this game. I just want everyone to play this game to the last mission, because it's a good story and you have to see it through. The last mission is just awesome.
Some people argue that it's stupid because you can't save the game when you're playing a mission, but you have to actually accomplish the mission before the game saves it for you. I agree that it felt pretty stupid, but now that I think of it, I think it was only better.
This game is a master piece, and I'm definitely checking what is happening with the game actively, as I love it.
Of course there are few things that could be better, but nothing is perfect I guess. I was very frustrated with the compass and navigating system, until I realized at the end of the game that you actually have a map, but I just didn't know how to get it up. Well just press TAB
.
I did it the hard way..
Check out the webpage I provided. There are screenshots, even demo if you want to try it out. And links to unofficial fan pages, some of them are pretty cool.
