Asher, the champion of Microsoft returns, lol. The Xbox is waaay better than the other two systems, but at least half the games that Asher mentioned I think are absolute crap (namely any Star Wars game, Project Gotham, and any DOA game). The other games though... Halo 2 is going to be twice as good as any game that could ever be made for the PS2 or GameCube.
However, I pretty much think that 95% of all games are crap, so the Xbox is doing pretty well. Many people gave Metroid Prime the game of the year and quite frankly, that game sucks. Seriously, a FPS where you can't strafe. How dumb is that?

Bioware is doing KOTOR...I doubt it'll be "absolute crap".
I also think that the MSR/Project Gotham series is awesome, it's a mix of Tony Hawk and a racing game. Right up my alley, really.
And DOA is DOA. DOA3 isn't the best fighter of all time, but it's still damn good. And DOA Online will be incredibly kickass because it's DOA2 rendered with the DOA3 engine, and DOA3, online!

the ps2 is the best console out right now, if microsoft continues to create gaming consoles than it is the future. If not then i think we're going to see the ps3 dominating the next half decade. As far as nintendo is concerned, it died at the creation of N64, that was the crappiest system Ive ever had the displeasure of playing. The Sega Saturn had better games than it

Soul Calibur 2 better come out before I move to Japan. I'll be pretty pissed off if I end up having to import a US version after all this time.

if u think about it the 200 dollars I spent on modding and getting an arcade stick doesnt only apply to playing SC2, so its not that bad.

It was a gift. I'd have rather gotten a PS2 but I couldn't take it back. I got a lemon and it broke down on me so I used my warranty to take it back. I was right in the middle of Morrowind and, in utter shame, used the money I got from the warranty to buy another xbox. PS2 rules!!! 
If you want RPG, racing games, console type FPS's, and anything by KOEI games (www.koeigames.com) then PS2 is the way to go baby!!!!
Now I don't own an xbox or have even spent any decent time with one so to be fair I will not pass judgement on xbox. I do know however that I will not give bill gates any more money though!
