Not being able to save during a mission is all a part of the fun IMHO.

There has been made a mod for GTA3, and since there's no big difference in GTA 3 and Vice City, I believe that mod will come to Vice City soon... Haven't tried that other mod though, so I don't know if it actually worked...
On a side note: I have heard, GTA 4 should be released with Multiplayer... can't wait

And the multiplayer mod uses built in multiplayer code that was turned off because the dev team just couldn't find a way to make multiplayer meet the standard of quality they wanted.

Eh... I wouldn't enjoy multiplayer with GTA anyway. It's meant to played singleplayer. That's just the way it is

What?! GTA2 multiplayer was the best, it's the only MP game that i liked.

Just finished the main mission in Vice City today. The last battle is TOUGH!! Maybe I'll go back and do the things I didn't get a chance to.
Or maybe I'll just get GTA3 and play that through.

i don't have it for pc, but on ps2 it was purely awesome....loads of fun this game
