  • Okay, I'll try one.

Clue 1: Released in early '80s for both C64 and Apple, under two different names (I think that there was also an IBM port as well). For full credit name both games.
Clue 2: Much later another another classic was developed based on these games that involved Cows.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

    • It wasn't a game to do with Llama's, was it? Revenge of the killer Llamas or something? I have vague memories of a game like that and, IIRC, they made a sequel with cows.

On the other hand perhaps it was all some sort of hellish nightmare.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

      • I also have hazy memories.........was it called Llamatron?

        • Nope, and Nope. Don't take my clues too literally.

Clue 3: On the most difficult setting the AI start 4 tech levels above you (At least on the C64 version).

            • Give that man a lollipop, a clue has been unlocked. Now figure out what the names of the games are.

Clue 3: The apple version's name is has had a thread title in the other games section in the last week.

But, full credit only for both games.

                • Okay, practically giving it away now.

Clue 4: The Apple version's name had the initials RFTS
The C64 version's name had the initials IG

That should help get one of them.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                            • Let's see, see...hmmmm a nice game. I'm working under the restriction of doing things in rhymes so it should have a nice ring to it.
