  • Make MSIE crash with easy code

Most simple way to create a website that makes MSIE crash, create a html file with only this code:

    < form >
    < input type crash >
    < /form >

    is it cool or what?

Try typing something in there, then press ener. It doesn't crash, but it's rather unexpected.

Yeah, just a HTML file with only that.
I tried it and it worked.

I'll upload such a file, hang on.

It does work over the Web, but not locally as an HTML file.

I have monitored this thread and notified my superiors.

I use win2000 and even my windows explorer crashed while I selected the file! I think that's because it wanted to make a preview of it.

I had to copy it to my server by using notepad and copy and paste it in the file-open dialog

                              method 1:
                              <object id="test" data="#" width="100%" height="100%" type="text/x-scriptlet" VIEWASTEXT></object>
                              method 2:
                              <object id=crash classid="clsid:00022613-0000-0000-C000-000000000046" width=1 height=1></object>

Second doesn't seem to work on all systems.
