  • US accussed of war crimes against journalists in 3 incidents

The US "accidently " attacked Al Jezzerra TV, clearly marked Abu Dhabi TV, as well as the Palestine Hotel where many journalist were staying. This violates the Geneva Convention. Sounds like the international version of The Patriot Act.

"US" and "War Crimes" in the same sentence? What are you, some kind of Communist or something?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
    Once again...

Fool.... US can never commit war crimes. We are the ones who define War Crimes in the first place!

Funny, same thing happened when Northern Alliance forces entered Kabul.

You know that hotel wasnt under control of US and that journalists weren't on the floor handcuffed and nose in the dirt.
What dou you think they would say?
Selfdefence? That building could colapse on M1A2 and bury it. And don't forget a camera is dangerous weapon.
Or bad maps, clearly Hussains supporters were here.

In the Italy it was bad map. In the Kosovo it was bad map. And in the Iraq... selfdefense or wrong info. BTW Al jazeera was probablly hit just because bad map.

            It was probably a mistake.

You all seem to be the sorts of people who see conspiracies in everything. I'd hate to get into a fender bender with any of you.

Okay, but if it happens in the next war I'm definately calling it a conspiracy. I think an investigation is in order. Thats all. I make no presumptions about the outcome.

You know how we Americans hate those journalists. If we had a chance, we would round up journalists and kill them. Our hatred for journalists is so deep that we say "journalists" in the same tone of voice you say "Josef Stalin." Anyone weilding a camera should be shot immediately.

There is an ex-congressman in the US who is suing Bush for war crimes as well. On to the Hague for real justice!

Well, in this campaign you didn't find too many journalists hooked on being embedded with the Republican Guard...

Funny that you would say so, when the journalists in Baghdad were forced to repeat the truths of Muhammad "We crushed the infidels at the airport" Said al sahaff.

well everyone needs journalists to tell their own version of the truth... but getting to war crimes tribunal for killing only three journos... if US massacred them I would understand, but there is no way that someone can prove that it was not accidental.

What if the Brits got on the US for killing more of their soldiers than the Iraqis did (or almost the same)...
