Big Crunch - 3/4 of students had left by yesterday. What's boring about it?

It's got varied nightlife, cinema, a beach and more people of a similar age than a town of 100,000 people.

        As soon as it's 12:00.00000000000000000000000001, it's pm.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Yup, that's true. But not when it's at 12 noon.

Couldn't you just things in the simple way? As in:

11:00, eleven hundred hours *one hour passes*
12:00, twelve hundred hours *one hour passes*
            13:00, thirteen hundred hours...

barbecue near girls dormitory is a great way to bait girls into having conversations.

I learned well from my upperclass folks...

It's customary usage to refer to noon as 12 pm and midnight as 12 am.

I use the 24 hour clock myself, but most people aren't.

That doesn't make any sense at all. Why use thse ambigious terms?

Aber has a cinema that shows one movie once a day, a stony beach that is lapped by the most radioactive sea in Europe if not the world, and a nightlife that dies when all the students go home.

Seriously though, Aber is a nice enough place no better or worse than any other seaside town, I was just fed up after spending 2 hrs in a jam driving passed London, 3 hrs trying to get passed Birmingham, and another 2 hrs navigating the Cambrian hills. All that in a beating sun gave me a headache. My drive back was better, took the A roads all the way and avoided Birmingham and London entirely. Was home in the same amount of time. Stupid really.

However, at least it isn't full of people who are so desperate to be contrary that they argue over whether noon is AM or PM.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Students' accommodation isn't generally segregated by gender is the UK. Although, in my first year I still ended up living in an all-male household

FP, they should argue over it. Its very important to a Welshman because bylaws in Chester allow him to be shot by an Englishman with a bow and arrow, after 12am and before 12pm, provided it is within the city walls.
