If it's all legal, then fine. As long as the law isn't dumb. Which it very well might be.

The law was almost written for this guy. It allows UK citizenship to be revoked from people with dual nationality (and therefore another country to go to). There aren't that many "undesirables" it will ever apply to.

Apparently Hamza's lawyers are trying to argue he doesn't hold Egyptian citizenship so this law can't be used. This one has a way to run yet.

He is a terrible advertisement for Islam and I really hope they end up handing him over the the Yemenis and we never hear of him again.

He'll never get deported, as he will be able to show he will face persecution in a foreign country.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Does that law still apply if the persecution is justified?

I think the view is taken that persecution due to ploitical or religious views is never justified.

Its Ironic that this chap would never afford other people the same protection

In York, some of the "students against war" complained about rough police treatment after three of them (deservedly) got arrested during one of their protests (FYI, they were lying in the middle of one of the busiest roads in the city). I just find this highly ironic; I wonder what the reaction would be if they'd protested on the streets of Baghdad?

People against violence complaining about being (in their eyes) treated violently? Now that's what I call hypocricy!

Like that couple who were having sex in the middle of the road and got run over by a bus. They're dead now.

Guys, it's not expelling someone who has a different opinion. It's expelling someone who preaches absolute hatred of his neighbors and the overthrow of the local democratically elected government.

What the Hell is free speech for then?! You have the RIGHT to preach absolute hatred of your neighbors and campaign for the overthrow of the government. That's what free speech is about, man!

Are you comparing the British government to that of Saddam's?

He does not have the right to incite violence and he certainly does not have the right to his aquired citizenship when he preaches the overthrow of the country that gave him it
