Use eMule instead, it makes it much easier and faster.
There's also websites that distribute serverlists if you're having problems connecting. eMule auto-updates these once it finds a server to connect to.

If you want to experiment, you can go try overnet as well.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
