        I love sauna's!
I visit it slightly less than once per two weeks.

Mostly with friends, and sometimes with my wife.

It's a great experience. Just take your time.
Take a 15 minute sauna, cold shower, relax outside (no matter how the weather is)

        that feeling is great!!

And than relax with a nice comic or a book for 30 minutes. It's a great way to relax and to remove all the stress from your body.

When I'll visit sweden this vacation I'll use the sauna in our vacation-house for sure once per 2 days

Only people that use saunas here in the states are fat hairy old guys.

I sauna whenever I go to my health club. Which means a lot before and not that often now.

Poll for Finns - what is the highest temperature that you'll take your sauna up to, in Celsius?

monolithh94, something around 110 and 120 Celsius. But I wasn't there for long it was too hot.

My perferred temperature is about 85 to 90 Celsius though. It's about perfect for my likings.

Cybershy, yes, the best part is after when you relax and do your thing. But you must not be in a hurry, or have to go to work or something, you must have time to just chill and relax, it's a must. Or else it's an insult.
It's good to be outside, eat something light, have a beer or two with your buddies and you must not dress up. Only after. You can have a towel around your waist though.

Of course it's even better if you can swim after sauna. It feels soooo good. I prefer lakes, it's nice to jump in and swim a little. But pool will do the job if there are no lakes around.
