Does anyone have pets that do unusual things?

I have a cat that plays fetch. But only with caps from a 20 oz. soda bottle. I taught him that completely by accident when I first started playing Civ 3. He kept trying to climb up on my desk and I couldn't figure out why.

One day, I let him get on the desk, just to see what he was after. He went right to the soda cap and started batting it around. So, I took the cap and threw it across the room so he could bat it around on the floor.

He brought it back and set it on my desk, so I threw it again, he brought it back. All this time I am immersed in Civ 3 so I don't think anything of it until I take a break from playing and throw the cap again. He brings it back.

This has been going on for about 9 months now.

It's to the point that me even opening a soda bottle will cause him to wake from a deep sleep and attempt to take the cap out of my hand.

He has also developed a taste for catching the cap with his front paws instead of chasing after it and has become quite proficient at catching them.

    Anyone else?

    ACK!

My son cat throws fits, that I can only compare to Curly of the 3 Stooges.
Lays on his side and spins around, clawing at the floor.

Catches bats, huh? Utah, is it?

There are bats in Texas, too.

I've had to chase 2 of them out of the building in the last week.

My cat plays fetch with milk rings.

She also likes to burrow under carpets.

That seems to be a common pastime among those of the feline persuasion.

My old cat used to chase milk rings, but this cat chases down caps and brings them back. Then he meows at you constantly until you throw it again.

My old cat used to chase bread. Not the birds eating the bread, but the bread itself.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

If your bread was actually moving, I'd be scared......really scared.

My cat play-hunts her own tail, and every once in a while she's been known to catch it...and hiss at herself when she bites it!

                            Stupid cat...
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.
