Could be. I'm not sure, I thought to be jew, your parents must be jewish too. Or is it enough if mother is jewish? Sure you can convert to judaism, but real jew?

a journalist asked him if he felt any prejudism he said: are you kidding: im the only black gay communist jew in America and you ask me this? (of course not only applicable in america)
