What a lousy thing to say. The soldiers are fighting for something that they believe in... their country. All the human shields are doing is getting in the way of bullets, not trying to dodge them... I am torn between a) loathing the futility of their throwing their own lives away, and b) feeling sympathy for their intentions...If they could realistically do anything to save/protect the civilians in harm's way, I'd commend them...but the thing is, they can't...so why die in vain?
