Given the resemblance between this thread and another recent one, I now patiently await the "Was Jesus and Alien?" poll.

I think one or two aliens might have ended up on Earth at some point, but only as a result poor mapreading.

i tend to lean towards the fact that aliens exist, although neither side can prove anything either way.

as for the visiting earth, yea, sure, i'll bite. i'm not some alien freak or anything, but i honestly believe roswell happened. i'm not going to go out into the desert and try to see stuff in the sky or anything, but i think aliens have visited the planet.

have they communicated with us? this, i doubt, at least on any substantial level. some people believe that aliens talk to the US government and thats the cause of a lot of our technology. i call those people crackpots.

if i were to venture a guess as to what the aliens were doing at earth (note, i didn't say ON), i would assume surveilance of some sort.

i also think it's very possible that many ancient stories (perhaps even some things from the bible) had aliens involved in them. I mean, sometimes it just makes sense.

it's 6am, i've just played civ for 13 hours, i'm sounding like a crackpot so lets run with that.

moses went to get the ten commandments, bight lights in the sky, heavenly white beings (angels), his hair turns white (radiation), whatever, i saw some show about it, seemed fairly believeable to me anyway.

they also said a lot of things about ancient civilizations like Egypt, Aztecs, and the Inca. Apparently the inca carved landing strips out of mountain tops, and one of them has a "space man" carved into it facing the sky.

there are tons of things like that. watch the shows. if you dont believe it, watch them to laugh, or something.

there was some story about a map from an early era thats completely accurate, and had to have been made from an aerial view. also, there are complete maps of antartica from times before antarctica was discovered.

            woo! go watch the show.

so you're not sure they exist, but you're certain that they've visited the planet?

It's possible that an alien exploration ship invisible to our eyes and radar and all that has flown low over the planet, decided that we're a bunch of uncivilized natives, and moved on without contacting us. If you were an alien who had access to 50 planets with life as advanced as ours, you wouldn't bother to stop by each one and talk to the natives. It would be like talking to a 9 year old.

                    However, I doubt it.

Yes, aliens do exist and yes, they have visited Earth. The Tunguska blast of 1909 was the first (and only) visit to Earth by aliens. Those poor ET's had the misfortune of picking Russia, the armpit of Eurasia, as their point of initial contact. After observing Russian citizens for a few days, the aliens concluded that humans were not an intelligent species and left, never to return.

So, if the aliens were hostile, thank you Russia.
If the aliens were friendly, screw you Russia.
Either way, you're still a bunch of retards.

There's no evidence that aliens have visited Earth. The fact that alien spacecraft and the aliens themselves change according to the decade suggests that it's all just mass hysteria.

I'm always amazed at how many people actually believe "aliens" exist. Not that there's any evidence or even indications to support their belief.

Yes, I'm the one who went for option 3.

Look at all the varieties of cars in the world right now. Look at all the varieties of cars in the world over the past several decades. How can you claim that because the details of sightings have changed that the sightings are immediately false?

Anyways, big universe, lots of time, they're probably out there somewhere.
