He says MW is too stressful (I'm not kidding), and claims he dosen't remember the rules for MK.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Well at least it's not reminding me of the Falklands. I wonder if the Falklands will prove to be the last war won by the side that didn't hold clear air superiority.

You're absolutely right. The Federation is a bunch of touchy-feely group hug p***y diplomats which has every two-bit punk empire who comes along try to take a piece out of it. We won't make the same mistake.

Somewhat back on topic (and here I was afraid I'd be accused of not being topical! )

Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

True. But the terrain is somewhat different. This time, the US should have a chance.

                          There are significant differences.

In Vietnam, the U.S. was proping up a series of brutal dictatorships. All too often, the U.S. tropps also restorted to brutal methods. In comparison, Vietnam's libertor from the French, Ho Chi Minh, looked pretty good to the populous. Plus, because the war in the south was a guerilla war, there was no capital or other fixed asset to attack, and enemy forces melted away.

In Iraq, no one can make Saddam look good in comparison. Plus, when word gets around that coalition troops are bringing food & medicine and will lay down covering fire so that civilians can escape from Iraqi irregulars, we're going to look pretty darn good.

Plus, we can pin Iraqi field units down in the deserts and pound them into dust.

                            No not really horse.

                            Good troll though.

Zkrib is also right, once Iraqis know the US/UK is there to finish it this time, their condidence will grow and they'll be glad to see the government gone.

Generals are running this war, not a President that allows only half-stepping.
                              So, no.

The only similarity is that whine-bags are still plentiful.
