. None-the-less, i agree with your points for the most part, except for your first one, which is pretty weak. The Brittish are not dependent on the US, they have made many independent advances (for example, they invented Cobholm armor, the 'indestructible' composite stuff on the M1A1 Abrahms...) and could just as easily get military tech from the other Euros as they could from the US.
