  • Does anyone else notice they're playing a lot of U2 when this war started?

Some say this is golden age
And gold is the reason for the wars we wage.

And a lot of the songs they're playing are from 'War'. I think I've heard Sunday Bloody Sunday like at least 5 times this week and 'New Year's Day' at 7.

Is this a subconcious attempt by the American people to tell their government that they don't support this war?

Is this an attempt by the pinko liberal media to raise dissent amoung the American people agaisnt Bush?

Has Bono gone off the deep end and invaded various radio stations to relive his past glories (since we all know U2 has been basically tapped out since Joshua Tree)?

Have I listened to 'War' so many other times that I'm just hearing it wherever I go? (yes)

    bah, radio

I hate the advertising, and for the few good songs, ya have to swallow a ****load of ultimate crap songs

Though the classical music station is pretty cool, they don't put much U2 on there

I wish they'd play Peace On Earth more often...except I get it stuck in my head all the damn time.

I hated the U2 song at the end of Gangs of New York. The movie was amazing, but the song was crap.

The version with mixed in comments from 9-11 is absolutely chilling.
