    Statement from survivor:
I'm so angry that we were fired on by the allies. The Iraqis must have been their real target but I'm sure they were surrendering - and anyway they were all dead within minutes.
    Good work
The enemy cannot push a button if you disable his hand.

If they are not killers, what do they do in the military? Passing out leaflets?

Not everyone fights in the military. Surely you know that.

            Certainly.

Although Dissident was talking about soldiers.

I'm sorry I found this funny, I can only assume you were doing it as a joke since every ****ing war has the very real possibility of friendly fire, US or not.

The fact that you specified US soldiers is why I'm hoping for your own sake and your own credibility you were doing a cheap troll/joke.

Anyone driving from enemy held country across the lines, in front of a moving group of enemy soldiers, is a ****ing moron of the highest order - especially when the idiot admits that they knew they were approaching the front lines, and they drove down the road anyway.

I know, the whole US force is supposed to just sit back and wait to see who comes up, because it might be somebody out shopping, or a couple of reporters who got lost. Yes, let's just call off the war, these folks are obviously lost, that's why they're leading that group of soldiers.

perhaps murderers would be a better word.

In any case your post shows no sympathy at all for human life.

You are a troll as well. Do you not care about human life? Should I care at all if some U.S. killer kills you?

Afghanistan: 4 Canadians, lots of Afghanis.

                    Should we go on?

No, you'd be embarassing yourself further.

The US contributes by far the vast majority of the forces in all of those conflicts, of course they'll be responsible for most of the friendly fire.

                      0.01/10.

In all honesty, I'd trust the accuracy of the US army over the Canadian army any-day-of-the-week.

MtG: I agree it's no awesome strategy to drive around like they did, but still:
But Mr Demoustier said soldiers at checkpoints had been "casual" and the Jeep was clearly marked as a TV vehicle.
It seems to me some guys are just too trigger happy...

The next time you're in combat, why don't you go ask your questions first and see what happens.

Who said they targetted the jeep in specific? I must have missed that part.
