Maybe people are not having a proper perspective over this Nuke-scare. Now, I'm not saying that there's no danger in countries under questionable regims having nukes but there's still a hard fact from the cold war that still applies: "You nuke, you die." The problem, if you would like to call it that, is that you can't invade countries that have nukes. A terrorist organization or something like that (religious loonies of some sort) with nukes is probably much worse.

      Iran is on 'the list'.
Bush has stated they need to take on a more democratic government, which the people of Iran want.

Good Lord, are all the people in your country that paranoid? I doubt if he even has anything to do with the nuclear program, that would most likely be the decision of the mullahs. Don't be so full of suspicion that you can no longer see an opportunity when it presents itself. Everything I've read indicates to me that Khatami sincerely wants a more democratic Iran. He's their version of Gorbachev.

Sounds quite a lot like Israel back in the days...

Funny how we haven't even finished with this one, let alone started the occupation, and the cowboys are bored already.

Yeah, and that's exactly what scares the rest of us.

So occupation of Iraq, preparation of an attack on Iran, and checking North Korea.

Hey Mike, how many divisions lacking?

I'd be talking even more to make up for the gap.

actually, I don't think that the US will attack Iran. I don't even think it should, at least not currently. I think that the US should try to impose it's culture on Iraq first.

Well, Iran WILL be surrounded...troops in Iraq and in Afghanistan...though I doubt the Brits, Aussies, and others in the coalition will go for it.
