What I've been asking for is proof. Show me evidence that a higher percentage of murderers in Michigan escape prison as compared to those in Texas.

Seems a fair comparasion to me. Great big state with lots of murderers with the death penalty vs. not-quite-as-big-but-still-large state with lots of murderers without the death penalty.

I think maybe you should get with the program, friend. You made the BAM that in non-death penalty states (of which Michigan is the largest and been without it the longest) prisoners are more likely to "contemplate escape" and to participate in prison violence.

I have this crazy notion--heaven knows where it comes from, it's just so silly--that people ought to back up claims like that when called out on it. After all, it's a pretty serious claim, especially since you're using it as a justification for the death penalty.

So, your choices are either:
1.) provide said evidence,
2.) retract such claims and state some other reason for justifying the death penalty, or
3.) simply continue to ignore me or evade the question like you've been doing, exposing yourself as an intellectually-dishonest jackass.

China, North Korea, and Cuba execute for preaching government overthrow and anarchy .
