Hooray (for boobies) I have found the second pro-war guy (here in Belgium) in 6 months!!!

aaanyway: burning your own oil fields, firing the WMD and the like is the stupidest thing saddam can do...

Besides remember the gulf war? Saddam fired rockets at Israel.. How many casualties? I believe it was: 1 or something... He can't do anything with his weapons cos they're worth ****, in the first gulf war the rockets were still pretty bad, according to the American specialists (they deviated from their target so much they completely missed)

U really think Saddam is going to attack Turkey, Israel and Kuwait the same time he's under heavy American pressure? It will only worsen things!! I think he's smart enough to see this, if not, f*k saddam!

Well, i am pretty damn sure there aren't any WMD, and I'm pretty happy that there aren't, because we won't, and the Israelis won't and noone will, get hit by weapons that aren't there.

It makes this war, which is righteous w/out the WMD's, just a little easier.

If he is captured alive (well you never know ) I'd imagine it would be harder to convict him of any crimes if it was shown that he was not in possession of any of these weapons.

He won't allow himself to be captured alive, I'm pretty sure of that.

The missiles the Iraqis launched against Kuwait were FROGs.

Be careful about misinformation during this war. Doublecheck all your sources. Do not help them spread their propaganda.

I would have thought FOX would prefer that propaganda angle to the SCUD angle.

I was sure somebody would do the witticism.

Actually, FROGs are missiles like this:

The range was only 99 kms, according to the BBC (or some other news site)
One (of the 10 so far) went as far as 50 miles SOUTH of Kuwait City, that is way over 93 miles from the lauch site, back miles is Iraq, plus the distance to KC, plus the 50 miles to the south. The Kuwaitis are still saying at two were scuds.
