Apparently those were short range missiles and not SCUDS (which have a far longer range so it would be a bit of a shame to use them on nearby targets)

FOX has reported SCUDS. The pentagon reported them I believe.

In Kuwait, the four missiles fired by Iraq were not Scuds, but shorter-range weapons. Two were Ababil 100's, which were shot down by Patriots. Another was a tactical ballistic missile, but no name or type was made available. The fourth was an antiship missile, which landed near the marines at Camp Commando.

Well Sten says they weren't SCUDS so maybe not yet...but they are there and if they survive they will be used in days ahead. IF they weren't used yet...

I'm not convinced yet.
