Yep. People's ignorance on that matter is amazing to me. I listen to the radio, read the news, ect., and NEVER suffered from the dilusion that Iraq had a hand in 9/11.

There is a fear (though it's quite a stretch) that there could be a future connection between Saddam (who has reason to, um, dislike us) and some sort of terrorist group that could result in a WoMD strike on the US. Hence "preemptive" war. Like I said, though, it's quite a stretch.
