The Americans should be able to do a very accurate count of the bodies they recovered after moving into captured positions. But of course they can't know how many who have been killed by air raids deep behind the Iraqi lines.

Deputy Foreign Ministry of Republic of Georgia said his country can not fuflil the request of United States to expel the Iraqi diplomatic personnel from the country. After detailed investigation, Georgia found they do not have the diplomatic relations with Iraq, so far, there is no Iraqi diplomatic personnel in Georgia.

3ID engaged Lead elements of an Iraqi Republican Gaurd Division on the western banks of the tigris this morning according to FoxNews report on the front.


About 100 RG forces of the hammurabi opened fire on 3ID columns. The action was played live on Fox news with an "Embedded reporter" via Videophone. Iraqi positions were pounded into oblivion 2 US troops reported injured by Fox Reporter. Dozens of Prisoners taken, about 100 Iraqi's dead. 3ID is moving again.

Does anyone have a link to a site listing what Allied units are involved? The CNN site lists a number of units, like the 1st Armored Division and 1st Cav, that we have not heard from in the current reporting.

Also, American reporters talks about the 3rd Division that is sweeping up the left bank of the Euphrates. However, the Brit Def. Minister said the unit was the US 5th Corps. A Corps implies two or three divisions. Could this mean that the two armored divisions are with the 3rd Inf. but no one can report on them?

Also, what is the makeup of the Marines on the right flank? One report said they were 50 thousand strong! That seems to imply that the bulk of the Marine Corp is involved.
