      • There ya go. Something in English.

I get my info either from Israeli media or from Israeli news forums that with their high number of participants have at least a few people for every news channel, news agency, radio station, etc. These people post the news, big and small, as soon as they hear them and I translate and pass the interesting ones to Apolyton.

When there is a link, a report or a source within their post, I post it too. When there isnt, I still post. In the past 3 days their credibility was 100% and I see no reason to bother spending precious minutes on looking for major English news sources.

        • I have no doubt Israeli media should be accurate. If the site is in hebrew though, can't you just say exactly where it is coming from(for instance, the name of the Israeli newspaper or Israeli radio)?

            • Eyewitnesses Report Seeing Wounded Saddam Being Carried From Compound
              Fri Mar 21 2003 10:32:01 ET

Intelligence sources now say there were eyewitnesses at the scene where Saddam Hussein's complex was bombed on the first night, ABC reported Friday morning.

John McWethy, ABC's national security correspondent, said on air: "Those eyewitnesses say that they saw Saddam Hussein being taken from the wreckage on a hospital gurney, that he had an oxygen mask over his face. In addition, intelligence sources say that there is a lack of communication between Saddam Hussein's office and his main commands and the rest of his government.

"They are interpreting that as meaning that there is some problem with his health. So they are optimistic that something has happened to the leader of Iraq, but they are still extremely cautious about what his condition is."

                        • There are no positions in western Iraq. We control 2 airfields. Not really a large force worth noting. The map is pretty accurate showing some of the Gaurd divisions and known locations of liberation.

                              • OK - just reported from the northern border of Iraq that Turkish troops will almost certainly enter northern Iraq within the next few hours. Their stated mission is to prevent refugees entering Turkey and to combat "terrorist" activities in northern Iraq. For those not in the know the latter means "suppressing Kurds and frustrating their push for independence".

Nice one George you dumb sh*t: you've just effectively started a war between two of your allies and probably also a Kurdish rebellion in eastern Turkey which will result in thousands of civilian casualties.
