GePap, for one, putting much worse than I did.
Guess it depends on who does the posting.
It also depends on who looks at it.

Here are the rules for military/weapons photos as I have just arbitrarily made them up, and as I shall equally arbitrarily enforce, with my customary brutality and lack of interest in discussing decisions once made.
Rule 1: No dead bodies. Violation of this one will get you a few days off, unless it's a crispy critter, or there are guts all over the place, or similar stuff, in which case violators will get several weeks off. You can find all the gore and body count pics you'd ever want all over the net, it doesn't need to be posted here.
Rule 2: Pics in this thread will be confined to the current conflict, and current equipment of the combatants therein. If you want to start another thread for other pics, do so, but don't run amok with new threads for everything.

Don't worry Siro, you'll have many more cool military pictures in the next weeks on TV than horror pics. The later pics were for educational value : not every country shows what it looks like on the recieving side.
Dear spiffor, if you'd like educational pictures about the real recieving ends of this conflict, I would suggest pictures of kurds, or of Iraqis, that have been killed, tortured and mutilated.
During my education, I saw many many pictures from the Nazi death camps. I think that those pictures, rather than pictures of injured german soldiers, reflect better the "recieving end", and portray correcly why sometimes war is a necessity.
