    Ack!

Georgetown is a 30 minute walk to the nearest Metro...GWU, on the other hand, is 2.5 blocks from the White House! Hail to the buff and the blue!

Georgetown sent me a load of stuff after I took the GRE: I got the impression that they were a very religious school because a disturbing number of the profs seemed to be called Father so and so.

    It sucks for philosophy though.
That's because it was founded by, and IIRC, continues to be run by Jesuits...

Tough choice..we didn't read your essays or the letters of recommendation that people sent for you, and those things do matter at sucha competative time. Also, where you come for also matters. If you are from the Northeast then its harder to get into many of these schools cause they want geographic dievrsity and tere is a glut of northeast applicants.

        Let me guess, very likely:

BU, Bowdoin, American, NYU, Tufts, UMass, Northeastern.

        Very possible:

        Georgetown, Brown

        Possible:

        Columiba

        Long shots:

        Harvard, Princeton.

OK, lemme try to elaborate a bit more. I'm from the Northeast. I think my rec letters are pretty nice, not that I can really say though. They essay is still around somewhere on the forum probably, though months old.

Also, it's kind of interesting that Imran says yes to Brown and Columbia, but to Tufts? Bowdoin also apparently has high standards too, too bad it's in the middle of nowhere. Also, being a minority might help in that regard...since Bowdoin does appear to be a bit monochromatic...
