That didn't bump the thread for some reason.

Well, I must confess that I've been surprised by Ajax perfomance. I didn't believe that Ajas was going to do it soo good...

And I overrated Deportivo, but I want to say that Valeron's injury affected the team...

Anyway, congratulations for every team that have qualified for next round

Tomorrow is the draw for the quarter finals. Ajax will play against the winner of one of the other groups, so that makes Milan, Barca and ManU the possible opponents. What do other Ajax fans think of them?

I think Milan is the best of them. Barca has not been very good in the Spanish league, but they are much better in Europe, so I'd like to avoid them as well. I think we have the best chance against ManU.

Really? ManU haven't been great at home but they are still second in the league by only 2 points and they've been very impressive in the Champions League. Mind you so have Milan and Barca... wouldn't want to play any of them really.

Gimme AC Milan. They're on a poor run at the moment, so I like them better.

Mike, I don't think we will easily win against ManU. I just think it will be even more difficult against the other teams. If I'm realistic, I have to say that we have less than 50% chance to reach the semi-finals against any of them.

With Real Madrid being runners up I think that probably some of those first place teams would be relieved to get Ajax rather than Real as well.

With Inter and Juve as the other runners up I'm sure most of them would like to get Ajax as their opponent.

Yeah, basically all the teams in the quarter finals are really good.

Good to see some Italian teams in the quarters again.

Good to see that there are no German teams in the knock-out stage
