Yeah, also it's highly recomended to do not aproch it with firearms and even with anti-tank arms. It's higly recomended to run when you see it.

Generally, yes, but with the newer upgrade packages, they can handle themselves against a top of the line western MBT, ( but not very well.

Never heard about active defense? Such as Explosive Reactive Armor or "Arena" active defense system which could be instaled to T-72 and make it invincible not only for infantry's anti-tank weapons, but also to tank's anti-tank shells and guided missiles?
