  • Should we just rename the OT the "Freeper Lite Forum"?

I mean, the habit of posting articles and asking people to comment on them has become endemic over the past year or so. Can't we be a bit more original in our first posts?

Commentary on current events are always welcome in my books. They turn out to be some of the most informative threads.

I don't really have any problem with "Here's an article, this is my summary and opinion" threads. I get very tired of "Here's an article, I bid thee farewell" threads.

No problem with that, Asher. But too many times the OP (original post) is just a cut 'n pasted article with "comment on this" written at the end.

I love loin's avatar. It always makes me think he has something intelligent and interesting to say.
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
