Well, Godunov was also a real figure. And not just a boyar, as he was Tsar from 1598-1604.

I've found that I'm incapable of forming a solid mental picture of somebody if they don't have an avatar or if they've got a standard avatar. The exception is EVC, who I really do picture as just some creepy looking guy in a black trenchcoat, and Skanky, who I really do picture as a samurai. Otherwise I just picture this big hunk of fuzz, or else a big hunk of fuzz covered in neon lights that keep flashing "Jon Miller."

I tried it once. Seemed sort of boring, and I couldn't get my soldiers to load on a boat, so I gave up.

It's RTS. You have to wait for them to load up. It seems like its not working but it is.

It takes a bit. I geuss you have to figure that they are not at the port you want them to be at. I haven't played since I got windows XP. It doesn't work. I'm going to get Hearts of Iron though.
