  • Help Space translate Norwegian!

Okay just to let you know ahead of time I have NO clue what this says and I apologize if its anything offensive.

    My friend and I are talking on messenger and he sent this to me;

    hei son, hvordon gordon?

jeg er sa kjeme glad i kjarsten min, jeg tully elsker hum

    hun

I would go use an online translator, except Ive spent the last hour trying to find one that translates Norwegian

It's not offensive. Now, I don't speak Norwegian but I do speak Swedish, so I'll give it a shot.

      It says something like:

      Hi, how's it hanging?
I am so happy ... *something* I truly love her/him.
      him/her.

That's what I gathered, Norwegian guys can correct me.

Based on my extensive experience listening to the Swedish Chef from the Muppets and a conversation with the crazy Norwegian Girl in my Chemistry class, I can safely say that you recieved a sexual proposition.

Though where you can be expected to find that much mayo so quickly I have no idea.

who wrote this? no offense, but it's full of mistakes

            "Hi, how's it going?

I love my girlfriend very much, I tully love her.

            she"

note: "tully" isn't a norwegian word. I don't know what it means

btw, it might as well be "boyfriend".
It's impossible to say if "hum" is supposed to be "ham" (him) or "hun" (her).

                    "finnjævel"

I remember this word! Crazy Norwegian girl told me what a jaevel is.

....did you just call Pekka a Finnish Tosser?

Nah.. It doesn't mean so much tosser.. more like devil, or something like that. I think if I'd put some effort, I could learn Norwegian pretty fast! That would be cool, then learn to speak Estonia, since that is so close to our language. How cool would it be to have 5 languages in your resume? COOL!

But to be realistic, I could just learn how to speak Swedish properly so I could say I handle 3 languages.. No use to know little about 9 languages and not be able to speak them properly.

                            no problem.

I would like to learn finnish but I don't think I'll get the opportunity unless I move to Finland. As of now, I know about 8 words in finnish. I also used to know the finnish word for moose (or was it reindeer?) vagina but I seem to have forgotten it.
