    I have agreed a part exchange on a T-reg Nissan Almera...a bigger car than my own and a good bit newer...and I can get rid of the most unreliable piece of cack in Christendom!

                    Hmmm, not that nostalgic with the grief it has given me. And shall we say that there are several things on it that aren't going to go for too much longer - bodywork, front brakes, etc, etc...and then there is the mystery clunking and cutting out at low fuel levels...if I knew how much this recent round of work was going to cost, it would almost have been worth as much as scrap. And bear in mind that is a 1997 car...

                      Are there any cheap British cars? I know there's Rolls, Bentley...but I don't know of anything for the normal folks.
