          AHEM!

I've already addressed most of your concerns.

First off, the only Repubs they have are Bush and McCain - so seeing lots of Dems, etc. is natural. Second, they don't know the stance of every politician they have there so take all of this with a grain of salt. Take this....

          General Wesley K. Clark
No confirmed positions on abortion, affirmative action, economic policy or health care. He’s on the record as opposing the trade embargo with Cuba. However he has made some telling statements. "I grew up in an armed forces that treated everyone as a valued member of the team," he said. "Everyone got healthcare, and the army cared about the education of everyone's family members. It wasn't the attitude that you find in some places, where people are fending for themselves and the safety net doesn't work."
So the General probably won't be the top guy on your list no matter what.
Incidentally, Lyndon H. Jr LaRouche doesn't even have any info. in his page - it's just a blank form.

So, in your list you should just assume those two guys are at the bottom.
I never know their names, But i smile just the same
          New faces...Strange places,
Most everything i see, Becomes a blur to me

Do you really believe that scumbag clinton would have balanced the budget without the pressure from a republican majority. I very much doubt it.

While I hesistate to even respond to your childish name-calling (really, we're all beyond the paranoid "scumbag" accusations), I would say that yes, he would have--as it was a stated goal of his administration, and it was Al Gore who championed balancing the budget above all esle.

You seem to have a deluded sense of history, since I can clearly to recall Gore casting the tie-breaking vote on a budget that was aimed at reigning in the deficit that the Republicans balked at, and then later the Republicans shutting down the government over Clinton's deficit-cutting. He established early on his desire to balance the budget and unveiled a 5-year plan to do so.

Sorry to burst y'alls bubble, but Clinton never "balanced the budget". He just gave Enron an accounting example to follow. The debt was certianly never paid down.

Theres nothing paranoid (are you sure you know what the word means?) about a descriptive term used in reference to a 'man' who brought dishonor upon the office of the president.

I note that you 'cough' about Reagans deficit spending, but fail to follow up on your comment.

If one of us is deluded, its clearly you. What were the details of the budget? How was clinton/gore planning to balance the budget? Heaven knows we dont need a military. Lets raise taxes as well. All those nasty rich people - who actually work- they have too much.

Paranoid, the same way all the Clinton-haters are paranoid. Can't stand that a Democrat was successful, so resort to character assaults. Fine, but it doesn't make for much of an argument.

And as for Reagan...he's a greater scumbag than Clinton, IMO. He blatantly disregarded the Constitution with his little contra affair, he drove us into a recession so he could help the rich get richer and he ignored the burgeoning AIDS crisis at a time when government action was most crucial. Yep, scumbag.

But oh, Clinton disgraced the office because of a hummer. Riiiiiight.

If one of us is deluded, its clearly you. What were the details of the budget? How was clinton/gore planning to balance the budget? Heaven knows we dont need a military. Lets raise taxes as well. All those nasty rich people - who actually work- they have too much.
Cutting military spending and upping the share paid by the uberwealthy sounds perfect to me. After all, in spite of all the Republican whining (and outright lies) about Clinton rendering the military unprepared, they performed magnificently in Afghanistan, without any notable changes from Bush.

Since military overspending and tax breaks for the rich were instrumental in spawning the deficit, it makes sense they should be reigned in to cut it, now doesn't it?
