What you fail to understand is that some people are simply not good at school. I am sure if those students knew how to not be obnoxious, they would not be. Maybe some things they do wrong seemed obvious to you but it wasn't to them. Moreover, even if they are obnoxious it doesn't merit being picked on.

Could be, I doubt that it is due to children not having meaning in their lives though, since there have been reported instances of workplace bullying.
