Pinochet was not protected by the government, he was freed by our JUDICIAL SYSTEM which is independant from the government. He was efeectivley freed because it was thought he was too ill to be extradited.
Obviously in Greece the government can intervene in the judicial procees to get the result it wants.Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

This was all part of a deal whereby the French would continue to back sanctions against Zimbabwe and we wouldn't kick up a fuss about Mugabe's visit this week as part of an African conference. Not quite the way it seems to be portrayed. I'd rather they'd left him out of it, but...Comment
