You should acknowledge that Chirac is the most ridiculous, because he has drawn all the attention.

Basically: "look, you're in deep waters that you don't know how to swim in.
Don't be the US little *****es because there are consequences."

Now I happen to be anti-war that's why I regard as any action in order to prevent it as good
A bit of bullying to help stop 500.000 people being killed for oil?
yep, I can agree to that

Even the people in these countries agree with that.

Threats to the new recruits? Hardly the dialog of equals.

Can't see how France can moralize about Iraq and yet be kissin' Mugbe's butt in an attempt to curry african favour inspite of European sanctions against him.
Where is EU Presient Greece on enforcing EU sanctions.

France will be the first member to leave the EU, if they
          can't dominate it.

          • It's not threats to something they even remotely care about
France hardly dominates the EU despite what a few english torists will have you believe.

France and the French poodle Germany dominate.

Totally ignoring the sanctions and protests from their
EU "partners" and getting away with it seems pretty dominate to me.

Some english also think that FrancoGermans eat their babies but I assure you this isn't the case either

English just ***** a lot because of "illusions of past grandeur" really. It's more of a psychological problem than anything else.

And since they aren't helping the EU unify (out of the euro etc) their political clout is justifiably enough curtailed.
                Their choice though.

                    • Paiktis, that story you quoted seems to suggest that the European representatives on the Security Council will support a resolution giving Iraqi a deadline to come into full compliance with 1441 or else force will be authorized. It's my understanding that the UK and the United States are drafting just such a resolution right now. I would be surprised if, given the EU stance on this, either France or Germany would oppose to such a resolution.

                      What do you think?

                      • ned, I think they will try as hard as they can to not let such a resolution come out and then will think about vetoing it if it does.
But one cannot be 100% sure.

Dinodoc, and France will be brought in front of the European Court of Justice if there is good enough reason. Also avoid english media in whatever concerns UK and particularly UK and France

Venezuela, Canada, and Mexico are much closer if we wanted to take over an oil rich state for plunder.
