              I war does break out, and it does look likely, Turkey will lose not only US dollars if it fails to cooperate, it will lose US support for keeping the Kurds in an unified Iraq.

              The Turks would be absolute fools to sit this one out.

                Parliament had been expected to vote on the issue on Tuesday, but this now appears unlikely.
