che should like this one as well...

"Now, whatever America as a whole might think, I am not afraid to come out and say it: I love the rich. I'm glad they have more money than I do. In most, instances, I believe they earned it. ... Listen. No one should feel guilty about wanting more money. If you don't like it, well, sorry, comrade. Because complaining about this country's obsession with getting rich is like stepping onto a baseball diamond and bitching that nobody's playin' soccer. Trying to get rich is our national pastime. So pick up a bat, baby, and start swingin'. Because let's face it, folks, in this country we are all sailboats, and the money is wind, and with enough of it, well, you can just about get blown anywhere."

              I have to paraphrase him:

OBL lost the support of the French and Bill Clinton when he condemned wine and adultery.

Isn't it curious how liberals defend Kim Jung Il and Saddam by expressing concern over Bush's stability?

Just another celebrity who thinks he knows what's right for America. Apparantly he thinks its okay for religion and government to walk hand in hand. no thanks

If I had to choose a comedian to run for political office, number one, I'd choose a funny one. Number two, I'd choose Bill Maher. Somebody who has a thought in his head and isn't friends with Dan Fouts.
To us, it is the BEAST.

I love these stupid generalizations that come from left field.

I don't pay any attention to celeb viewpoints, but Sava, COME ON - like you would hesitate to quote a celebrity whose views supported your side!

Dennis used to be a lot more liberal. He has definitely drifted to the right over the past several years.

I've found that comedians tend to be the most honest and insightful commentators on modern events. Comedians like Dennis Miller, Bill Maher and Chris Rock get more respect from me than all the "serious" commentators (aka spinmeisters) out there...

Medium build, black hair, cool looking. Goes from serious as a heart attack to cracking himself and others up in a split second. You can almost see his sense of humor kick in. In his serious mode he is what I imagine Isaiah might look like. Looked right through Donahue, pinned that worm to the wall on his BS and just plain shut him up on a couple of his self involved tirades as well.

A damn good VP because he would have plenty of time to joke around, while occasionally cutting through leftyspeak with laser sharp wit.

                              On Clinton/Monica:

"All I ask is that he does his job, doesn't rip me off or stare too long at my wife, that's it ok. I think if the next president is to learn anything from this whole episode, it's that he should be totally forthcoming with whatever dark secret he harbors, thereby completely defanging the rabid pack of partisan watchdogs nipping at his heels. You know, at this point, I really believe that our entire nation actually would diefy the first president who steps up to a podium, looks dead into the camera and says, "Folks, she blew me. As a matter of fact, she's blowin' me right now. But enough about me, lets talk about cutting yo...uh...eh...uh...your taxes."
Of course, that's just an opinion, I could be wrong."

He's cool, which is as good a qualification for being VP as any I guess.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.
