  • What do you think of nudists?

This is a good thread to make now. As many Europeans are on the board. More Europeans are into the nudist thing than americans.

I find the culture strange, yet fascinating.

I don't find it erotic at all. In fact the tv show I'm watching right now they are all ugly . You would think if you were going to be a nudist you would stay in shape. So many of the american ones are fat. And then you have all these aging hippies. Time has not done them well. Perhaps they looked good in the 60's, but not now.

so many fat people on this program. I need cleansing.

Anyways I guess because they are nudists they don't care how they looks. But I hated being fat. I am so glad I lost all this weight. I feel so nimble and agile now. And I have more energy. Why do other people put up with being fat? I hated it. And I was only fat for 5 years or so.

Perhaps because I'm not so attractive, I like to improve areas of my body in which I do have control. And that is body shape. I can't do much about my face, its all ****ed up.

In any case I think I could do the nudist thing. At least I would look better than all these fat people . But I think I would need a few beers to loosen up first.

I agree. But would you do it?

like I said, I would given enough motivations. Right now it just doesn't fit my lifestyle.

I am kinda ashamed of my body at the current stage.

I am getting rather fat. Not obese, but in the overweight area.

        BMI: 29!

not that it matters. I seen plent of fat, obese, and overweight people on this tv special.

In fact I didn't want to flaunt in my original post. Those comments pretty much relate to me and how I feel about myself. They don't necessarily apply to other people. I just hated being fat. If I was obese my whole life it wouldnt' be a big deal. But I was extremely thin when I was a kid. And I was agile as well. So I really could not be naked in front of other people the way I was before. But now I feel like I could do it.

              eating less and excersizing more

ok it wasn't that easy. It does take a lot of discipline. Luckily that is one trait I do posses. I am a very disciplined person. but I think anybody on Apolyton could be if they think about it. It takes discipline to play civilization 2 or 3 for 20 hours or so It's just a matter of focus.

I hate to thread jack my own thread .

but I really didn't gain weight all that fast. So I just had to reduce my portion size. I cut my breakfast by almost half. Same with lunch. I used to make 2 sandwhiches to take to work, now I just make once. I used to get the shakes and headaches from not eating- but I think that was just pyschological. Amazingly I only got the shakes when I was gaining weight and did not eat, not when I was losing weight and did not eat. Nevertheless I still ate 3 meals a day. I stay fairly active on my job so I don't excersize during the week. On my weekends I work out twice. Stairstepper, and also free weights- dumbells to be specific. During the workout sessions I eat peanut butter to keep my energy and protein up during the workout days. I work out my biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, and back. I also do some minor stomach crunches- nothing serious. I also walk my dog on my weekends. I also quit drinking soda, and I cut down my junk food consumption. I still occasionally eat it, but rarely. Sometimes I do miss a workout day. No biggie. I just try to at least get in one workout a weak. but maintaining my calorie intake is very important. Esp. when I don't workout 2 times a week or more.

Getting back to the original point, my view is that tv programmes about nudism are linked to increasing obesity in Western Europe/North America. Either pictures of nude overweight people are being shown to shock overweight viewers into dieting or (more likely) to make them feel less of a freak and more comfortable with themselves.

Nudism in the UK? Why? With our climate you are either going to freeze your ass off or risk sunstroke with nothing in between.

Pointless. Not a single reason for it except for leftist attention-getters's irrationality.

Trolling a thread about nudists is really quite original.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.
