Bill3000 was a former poster here on Apolyton. He had made up his own form of government called Demesos, which both leftists and rightists agreed was stupid. He was one of the worst debaters here-- think a Fez/Giancarlo of the left. As a result he was flamed many times. One day Bill snapped and announced he was going to kill himself. Some Apolyton posters did not take the threat seriously/claimed not to care-- those posters laughed at Bill and some told him to go ahead and do it. The suicide failed and Bill was taken to the mental hospital. He eventually returned for awhile, but even though some people felt sorry for him he was still unable to get along, because well he was still alot like a Fez of the left in terms of debating skills. Apparently he lost interest in the OTF since then, but the last time I talked to him he seemed to be doing well and becoming happier.

There's a few older heads here. Bill's Dad came online to say he was okay.

Its not the only threatened suicide we've had - there was also a serious one at Sidgames.
