err how...my new comp doesnt have a modem yet.
Not sure and I was suprised too. Specially since it was the 64mb version (Golden Sampler..nice off newegg 157$). Figured it could of been the 2800 AMD.Comment

14K is roughly what a Radeon 9700 gets...not a GF4 Ti4200

3DMark2001SE is really CPU-bottlenecked.
I just checked on the website, and with the same CPU as mine and the fastest 3D card available (Radeon 9700 Pro), they only got ~12500.
Whereas with the same video card as I have (GeForce 4 Ti4600), a Pentium 4 3.5GHz gets 17571, 3GHz P4 gets 14333.
My plan is to replace my Palomino Athlon XP 2100+ with a Barton Athlon XP 3200+ around the end of the summer or early fall, then replace my videocard when NV40 comes out...or NV35, depending on if I need it."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate.
